Our black box theatre space was transformed into a mega church for this show. This required careful use of our LED and Intelligent fixtures; too little use wouldn't build a sufficient facade, while too much movement would have broken the illusion.

The Christians  required that I understood the positions and focus of the designer's plot well in order to achieve the look Ben wanted without washing out the cross or lighting characters that remained on stage but were not in the current scen

Our LED rig was used to show time passage, scene shift, and mood changes. Because our cast was on stage at all times, and we had no mid-show blackouts we relied heavily on subtle lighting shifts, which required extensive discrete timing.
